ETS2 Update 1.22

SCS Software has released next update to Euro Truck Simulator 2. New version 1.22 is the largest game updates for ETS2 and brings plenty of changes in gameplay, vehicles, AI and sound code. The full list of all changes and download link is available HERE.

Version 2.76b update

The binaries for the updated Blender 2.76b release are now ready for download from Blender Foundation.
Cycles volume density render, Pixar’s OpenSubdiv, Node inserting, Video editing tools, 100s of fixes, and a lot more.

SCS Software Blender Tools is available on GitHub website. There is 0.6 beta version.

3D Blender version 2.76 was released on on October 9, 2015. The both of 32 and 64 bit version of this application are available to download from Blender Foundation .

Changes:
• Initial support for Pixar's OpenSubdiv geometry subdivision technology
• A huge view-port performance boost.
• Big file browser performance boost and arrow keys navigation support.
• Node auto-offset feature that helps organizing node layouts.
• Absolute grid snapping in the 3D view.
• Sculpting with tiled strokes.
• Text effect strips for the sequencer, supporting subtitle export
• As usual, hundreds of bugs fixed and other improvements!

This tool is necessary to edit 3D SCS game models.

American Truck Simulator
October News

This month we received new information about incoming American Truck Simulator from SCS Software company.
The first news is about ATS trailers with some with some unique pictures on SCS Blog website.
The second present difference between trailers in AT i ETS2 game. American Truck Simulator is bringing a wider range of semi-trailer lengths compared to what we have in ETS2 now. The longest variants and the overall resulting length of the whole tractor-trailer pose an extra challenge for navigating tight intersections and maneuvering at the cargo drop-off points. More HERE.

This time new unique DLC for our old Euro Truck Simulator 2 game. The new DLC - Cabin Accessories is a collection of practical as well as totally impractical things with which you can decorate the interior of your truck cabin. New version 2.75a of 3D Blender was released on on July 8, 2015. It is available to download from Blender Foundation .

• UI now allows font previews in the file browser.
• High quality options for viewport depth of field were added

• 3D viewport painting now supports symmetry and the distribution of Dynamic Topology was improved

American Truck Simulator
ATS Corporate Cooperation

SCS Software company effort to secure official licenses of trucks to put into their American Truck Simulator continues, now their focus is on Northern America. Courting the truck manufacturers - getting their attention and reaching the decision makers - is really not easy at all for a small company like SCS coming from outside of the transportation industry.

There is a little photo report on SCS Blog news. They have created a special demo based off an alpha build of American Truck Simulator for their corporate event, and they also tried to bounce it off the public to see the reaction.

ETS2 Scandinavian DLC is close

This month is full of information about incoming Scandinavian DLC for ETS2 game. SCS Software are switching into high gear in the final tuning and tweaking of the new DLC. As they are getting closer to the finish line on ETS2 Scandinavia DLC, it is time to show what they prepare for us.

• Oslo happens to be one of the largest urban agglomerations featured in Scandinavia DLC, in fact Oslo and the surrounding areas is possibly the largest city SCS have built so far in Euro Truck Simulator 2. SCS are using new types of junctions and intersections extensively in Scandinavia, in this particular case to connect the city to the large port that incorporates a ferry terminal. LOOK AT HERE
• Örebro is one of Swedish cities that is pretty much finished and ready for Scandinavia DLC. LOOK AT HERE
• There is a small scale map to reveal the destination cities SCS are putting into this world expansion of ETS2. This little map doesn't tell the whole story - the highways, roads and city streets are now a much more detailed system than what we currently have in the older parts of our ETS2 universe.LOOK AT HERE
