Scandinavian DLC and new Truck Models

SCS give us some fresh screenshots of Euro Truck Simulator 2 taken from the upcoming DLC Scandinavia, around the Linköping city

The very interesting information about new trucks in progress was published THERE as well. The truck fans have long suspected that another vehicle SCS Software surely must be building is the 2012 New Actros truck tractor. It has taken their a lot of time and effort to obtain the necessary license; to finally complete the "Big Seven" European truck manufacturers licenses. Look at the picture there...

Awaiting for patch 1.13 we can read what SCS Software presents in it. This time it is all about Achievements in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Actually, at this stage we have different sets of achievements: Steam Achievements and World of Trucks Achievements. All of this futures are very good described on their blog HERE.

ETS2 ver 1.12 and DLC!

About 2 weeks ago SCS announced the release of a new update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 - version 1.12. At the same time, High Power Cargo Pack DLC was released on Steam.The High Power Cargo Pack DLC is adding a bunch of additional optional cargoes into the game. It will only be available for the Steam edition of the game. It was described on the SCS Blog website a week earlier.

"Finish" Picture Pack

1.12 Update Soon

There was Euro Truck Simulator 2 patch 1.11 last and new one is upcoming... ETS2 version 1.12 will bring us the 4 new features, plus it will prepare the game binaries for "A New Type of the DLC" (as SCS said) - not paint-jobs this time! SCS team plan to release this DLC simultaneously with the update.

Three of them are:
• Truck Browser - browse, build, visualize and preview any unlocked truck in the game.
• Trailer Browser - browse all trailers, their types and sub-types featured in the game - even MOD trailer.
• Photo Mode Enhancements - ability to change the Color Balance, Saturation of your image and Change the Roll the camera.

Driving in the North

There is new information about upcoming new Scandinavian DLC (not real name yet) at SCS Blog website. So all roads and cities are getting built, new companies and cargos are getting created, new ferries and ports are getting opened. SCS presented some new images from the almost ready Växjö city. They looks awesome!
Next SCS' milestone release is update Steam experimental branch with new Oculus Rift support. It supports the DK1 and DK2 model now.

I have found information that 3dartpol famous truck fan will close his website. He is great truck game modder and owner 3dartpol.nl website. I know him from years and he supported TruckPol as the Forum Admin and famous member. It is hard to see that next big website will be closed - I hope you change your decission yet.

Patch 1.11 is live

Finally SCS Software release new version of patch 1.11 for Euro Truck Simulator 2. This touched pretty much every aspect of the game: physics, AI, simulation, and gameplay refinements. One of the biggest changes is rebuilt AI code and complete UI facelift. But the fames part of patch are 3 new cities: Venice, Graz, and Klagenfurt with a lot of new kilometers to explore for you. This week a new edition of last SCS game is entering retail stores in Poland - Euro Truck Simulator 2: Edycja Roku. It is an attempt to attract new players to discover the genre; seasoned ETS2 players of course have been playing the game forever and don't need to go and buy it again.

What's new coming part 2

This time we can find some new information about Nordic expansion pack. SCS Blog publicated new wonderful set of pack from ETS2 Nordic DLC.

In a last message posted on SCS Blog we can find a few things which are coming with the next major Euro Truck Simulator 2 update. Now you can see new screensots taken from latest test patch that include three new cities: Venezia, Klagenfurt am Wörthersee and Graz.

This patch will be include yet:
• displaying current road speed limit in Route Advisor, similar as it's available in common car GPS devices
• The UI will receive a facelift to clean up its look a bit and make it fresher
• Some physics, AI, simulation, and gameplay refinements

What's new coming

Last update of Euro Truck Simulator to version 1.10 is not last thing we can expect from SCS team. There is a stream of updates coming for ETS2 through 2014 that will be provided for any edition of the game. If things go well, there is a major map expansion add-on coming later this year that will not require Steam, but just like Going East!

SCS Blog website has a couple of screenshots from a major as-of-yet unannounced ETS2 map expansion DLC!

Two days ago SCS Software has been announced the release of a new set of paint designs. It is expanding on their previous experiments with new truck paint effects offered as a free DLC for all World of Trucks users. The new set of screenshots, posted on SCS Blog, shows the effect of rebuilt internal engine. It is visible in sharper textures, new structures and intersection prefabs, city and nature environments, new weather setups, HDR and so on... making bigger impression of American roads. Patch 1.9 Open Beta

SCS Software is close to release new version of patch 1.9 for Euro Truck Simulator 2. The stability of this build is very solid and you can see new game ideas made by SCS. They have spent plenty of time in closed beta testing but they need your support in father testing (the patch is available on Steam only). You will find the 1.9 update in the branch "public_beta" on Steam (Library -> right click on ETS2 -> Properties -> Betas -> select public_beta). Because it is one of the biggest patches for ETS2 , the idea is to release patch without any bugs and avoid preparing hot-fixes to last major game updates.
One of the biggest changes is rebuilt AI code. It replaces the entire traffic AI code with a new system, more flexible and open the way for yet more improvements in the future (country-specific behavior of traffic lights is a much needed planned feature for the future for example).

I have to complete some information about Scania TDS. So the first we have patch version 1.6.1 and secondly Scania Truck Driving Simulator is now on Steam! As you may remember, Scania TDS has been Greenlit on Steam back in October of last year already
